Bit about me

I am a descendant of the Kamilaroi nation. I grew up on Bundjalung land and am privileged to call Gubbi Gubbi land home. I am a Research Assistant with the Integrating Genomics into Medicine Group and recently completed my Masters of Genetic Counselling through the University of Technology, Sydney. Previously, I spent 17 years as a high school science teacher in remote Northwest Queensland, Southeast Queensland and abroad. I have a passion for driving equitable social services including a keen interest in mainstreaming genetic technologies and achieving the promise of genetic medicine through improving implementation.
